Dermatology & Skin Cancer Consultants was founded in the fall of 2011 by Dr. Dafnis Carranza, a board-certified dermatologist, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. In 2007, Dr. Carranza was recruited to West Tennessee from UCLA in Los Angeles, California for her outstanding work in Melanoma research. In addition to research, her experience and training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery aided in her recruitment due to the great need for skin cancer treatment in the area.

Dr. Dafnis Carranza is recognized as the first in Jackson, TN to offer and specialize in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, skin cancer treatment, and advanced cosmetic techniques. Our mission is to deliver dermatological care in a compassionate and comfortable environment with the highest standards, ethics, and medical expertise.
