As a physician assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Joseph Mallette is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive dermatological exams, as well as diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for your dermatologic needs.
Joseph's commitment to high standards in continued medical education and patient care are his greatest attributes to furthering our service to patients and their families. Before attending Bethel University as an aspiring physician assistant, Joseph helped establish the Mohs laboratory at our Humboldt office prior to opening Dermatology & Skin Cancer Consultants in the fall of 2011. Joseph is a Jackson, TN native and serves as an active member of the worship team at Journey Church in Three Way. Joseph is married to Amy Mallette, and together, they have three children. They are avid volunteers within the Jackson community and are always looking for ways to participate in nonprofit organizations and events.

I saw Dr Carranza in 2017 for skin cancer on leg. She did Mohs procedure and I now have a tiny scar. Excellent job. I now see Dr Mallette yearly for examination. Wonderful care and visits—caring, professional..I highly recommend
Everyone is so incredibly nice and welcoming. They listen to your concerns and needs and help you accordingly. We have been very pleased with the results, my daughter’s acne and redness is clearing up beautifully with the creams they’ve prescribed. And PA Mallette is so kind and they get you in and out quickly, which is so nice when your leaving work for the appts.
I saw Joseph Mallette and was very pleased with his full body exam. Very professional, thorough and caring. I had only a 5 minute wait to be brought back to exam room and less then 5 for Joseph to come and cover background history and exam. No problems found and I was out in 15 minutes. Will definitely see him again next visit.

I have been a patient here for a couple of years. I have received the best care. All the patient care staff have been great. I highly recommend this dermatology clinic to anyone who need skin care of any kind. Joseph was very professional and courteous.
